Rylie & the Kindergarten classes had their 2nd Eureka experiment on Halloween day! For this project it was all about bananas! There were 3 centers around the room & they went to each center. One center had large teeter-totters & the kids each took a turn sitting on one end & an adult would see how many bananas equalled their weight! Rylie weighed 80 bananas! Then the next center measured their length in bananas. The kids took turns laying on the floor & seeing how many bananas it took to be as tall as them! Rylie was 6 bananas tall! Then they measured out the dry ingredients to make banana bread & at the end of the day, they were sent home w/ those ingredients along w/ some bananas & a recipe! The kids really had a wonderful time, & I also had a blast helping out!
