Showing Her Creative Side

Our church hosted an arts & crafts camp this year for 1st-3rd graders this week & Rylie & Kristin spent each morning from 9-12 there making some amazing crafts! The idea to do this art camp was not only for Rylie's benefit, but also for Robin. She was so kind to babysit my kids ALL day long both Tues & Wed while I went to my first ever preschool teacher's conference, so we signed up Rylie & Kristin for this art camp for 3 reasons 1)- To get the girls out of her hair for 3 hours a day for those 2 days; 2)- To let the girls have fun; & 3)- because it was CHEAP! It was only $30 for the whole week! Awesome!!!! So I dropped Rylie off on the first day totally expecting crappy art projects like foam door hangers w/ stickers, etc., but was very pleasantly surprised to see tables set up around the room w/ TONS of craft supplies. Each day Rylie came home so excited to show me what awesome craft they made & she hopes they do it again next summer!
Here's the crafts they made this week:
Day #1 - Wooden Picture Frame done scrapbook style
Day #2 - Accordian Style Photo Album done scrapbook style
Day #3 - Tie Dye T-Shirts & Wooden Wall Hangers
Day #4 - Handmade Stationary Cards
Day #5 - Decorative Magnetic Board done scrapbook style
Then all week long they worked on making paper mache pinatas!!!

Below is a pic of the crafts she made (minus the stationary cards & tie-dye t-shirt)!
