Our Weekend

Friday night my mom came to visit. She got here just in time to meet us at Rylie's gymnastics academy & got to watch Rylie have her fun there! Then we loaded up in the car & headed to the new Spring Creek that just opened in Cypress. This was the only chance my mom would get to see Ellis while she was in town.

Saturday we all enjoyed a relaxing, lazy morning around the house. Mimi gave the kids a little Valentines treat, we grabbed Chick-fil-A for lunch & then that afternoon Mimi stayed home w/ Chase so I could take Rylie to her friend Mackenzie's birthday party at Houston Swim Club. Rylie had a great time swimming & seeing her friends from school, the neighborhood & Daisy Scouts. That night we ordered a pizza & rented some movies. The kids watched "Ratatouille" w/ us, then after they went to sleep my mom & I watched "Mr. Brooks" - a very awesome movie!!!

My mom had to head back to Tyler today & the kids & I have been very lazy! We were expecting rain all day so we made no effort to get ready or go anywhere. . . and of course we haven't seen any rain yet! Tonight's the Super Bowl & we're anxiously awaiting to see if our Patriots can whoop those Giants (sorry Eli - we love you, but the Patriots ROCK)!!!
