Friday we loaded up all 4 of our kids & hit the streets of Dallas. We started w/ my much needed Sam Moon shopping trip, but sadly I was disappointed w/ the lack of purchases I made! Ah well, it was good to go & I did get SOME stuff, just not my normal load. Then we ventured across town to Arlington to see the ladies at the Spring Creek corporate offices & then to meet Jamie & her sweet girls for lunch at my fave - Mexican Inn. After lunch we went back to the Frisco/Little Elm area to drop the kids off w/ my sister-n-law so she could babysit & so the kids could have a sleep-over w/ their cousin Steffy.

Friday night Val & I went to a Rangers/Padres baseball game w/ her friends Amanda & Kristy. We had AWESOME seats. Front row, next to the dugout! We honestly could have cared less about the game. . . we were more interested in the view! :) After the game we headed over to the Blue Goose in Plano for late-night appetizers & drinks. It was a fun night & great to meet some of Val's friends I hear so much about.

Saturday I met up w/ Alyssa, Todd & the kids & we headed to Yarnaby, Oklahoma for the Dyson family reunion. Aren't you all proud of me for going to Ellis' family reunion w/ out him?! I should get "Wife of the Month" award for that one! It was a fun day of visiting w/ family & watching the kids play. When the reunion was over we followed my father-in-law home to Ardmore, OK & stayed the night there. It's been since before we moved to Katy since the last time we went to Ardmore! WOW!!! That's been a while. We met up w/ Ellis' Uncle H.A. & Aunt Donna for dinner at Two Frogs, then it was home to bed.
Chase enjoyed the slip-n-slide (for about 5 minutes)!
Cooling off. . .sure was HOT outside!!!
Shakin' her groove thang!

Sunday we got up early (due to the power going out & becoming extremely uncomfortable in the summer heat), went to breakfast w/ Shy, took the kids to the cemetary, & headed back to Katy! It was a fast-paced weekend & lots of time spent on the road. It was fun, but it sure is good to be home!
