He Did It!

Kindergarteners are required to read 100 sight words before they can start reading AR books in the library. This is a HUGE thing for the Kindergarteners. . . they work so hard to achieve this goal, & when they've read all 100 to their teacher, they then get to read them to either a principal or counselor, then get a certificate & get to be on the morning announcements.  Well Chase has known his sight words for a while now, but each week would get nervous when it came time to read them to the principal.  So last week, he finally got an extra burst of bravery & read them to the school counselor & this morning to to be on the morning announcements!  He was so cute up there!  This was actually his second time on the announcements. . . the first time was with me when I received recognition for volunteer hours.
