Less than a week after our big marathon run Trish & I were back for another race - thankfully just a 5k. Which since I was battling a stomache & still had a sore knee from the marathon, that 5k felt more like 5 miles or more! But it sure was fun! These events really help to keep me going. I enjoy running so much more when I have a fun race/event to look forward to.
The Houston Rockets (basketball team) put on their 10th annual Rockets Run 5k. Another great run to add to my growing list! And another new race shirt to add to my collection - as Ellis would say, I only do these for the shirts. Its not true, but I sure do wear those shirts with pride knowing I did something to earn it.
